Mr. William Joseph (Billy) Welu
Class of 1950

Graduated from St. Thomas High school., 1950 University of St. Thomas, 1954; M.A. St. Louis University, 1956. Memer of three ABC championship teams and four world Match Games Championship Teams.

Individual Victories: The nation all star torunament, 1959, Buffalo, N.Y.; ABC Masters Tournament 1964, 1965: Set all-time record in the 64 masters at Oaklamd. California, by averaging 227 in 28 games.

Captained St. Louis Falstaffs to national honors in the ABC and BPAA.

Membership on Bowlers Association; 'Color' commentator on PBA for many years with Chris Schenkel.

Inducted into ABC Hall of Fame, March 13, 1975.

Inducted into St. Thomas High School Hall of Honor, February 12, 1976.
