|
St. Thomas High School has carved a niche for
itself in TAPPS as one of the toughest contenders in Cross Country
to beat from year to year. The Eagles are known for going the
distance with well-trained, competitive runners.
Training for Cross Country takes commitment
which fits well with our school motto of "Teach me Goodness,
Discipline and Knowledge." The hard work of our Eagle
teams is seen in the results of district championships and a
recent '04 state championship! St. Thomas offers two Cross Country
teams, a Junior Varsity and a Varsity.
Cross Country practice begins in August and
runs into October, with off-season training at other points
during the year.
