CHALLENGED OR QUESTIONED MATERIALS POLICY
While we respect and uphold the fundamental freedom of expression - the right to publish diverse opinion and the right to unrestricted access to these opinions - as guaranteed by the Bill of Rights of the United States Constitution, the Learning Resource Center of St. Thomas High School maintains its teaching and guiding role in the lives of our students. The fundamental policy in the development of the collections is responsible selection, not censorship. Where diverse opinions are available, the Catholic point of view is always present and promoted. |
