Join STH in the Steps For Students
February 16, 2010 - All members of the St. Thomas community are invited to participate in the Steps for Students 5K Race on Saturday, February 20. The race benefits the the schools of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, and proceeds from the St. Thomas team will benefit many of our inner-city Catholic feeder schools.
In addition to the 5K race, there is also a 1K Family Fun Run and a Post-Race Party. The St. Thomas track team will be running, as will members of the faculty and staff. We'd like to have as large of a turn-out as possible, so please consider running/walking in one of the races or sponsoring a runner!

The Basilian Fathers offer scholarships to each inner-city Catholic school on a yearly basis. We remain committed to making St. Thomas education, and Catholic education in general, as accessible as possible. Fundraising events like Steps For Students is a fun and effective way to help the wonderful cause.
