Edline Access Codes

St. Thomas High School is now using Edline instead of Moodle

To make it easier and more beneficial for students and parents to access student assignments and grades, St. Thomas will join the Edline network. Moodle will no longer be accessible. Faculty members are currently setting up their pages and we hope to have student and parent access soon. Please be patient during this process.

All parents now are invited to register for Edline:

The Administration and the Technology Department of St. Thomas High School would like to extend an invitation to all of our students and their parents to register as users of our newly implemented Edline Portal System.

The Edline Portal has been selected to provide students and parents with 24/7 access to important school information. When fully implemented, parents and students will be able to access grades and attendance information as well as copies of LAPS, class notes, PowerPoint presentations and other classroom materials.

Additionally, the Edline Portal System was designed to facilitate communication between parents, teachers and administrators. Parents who use Edline will appreciate the unprecedented ease and convenience of being able to communicate directly with their son’s teachers and coaches.

Full implementation of Edline will also provide our students and parents with several important safety benefits. Given our recent experience with Hurricane Katrina, St. Thomas wants to ensure that, in the event of a potential threat, our parents can all be kept informed in a timely manner. The mass e-mail capabilities built into Edline will give us that ability. And in the event of a long term disaster, parents will be able to access Edline and retrieve the kind of information that they will need to make sure that their sons can be enrolled at another school.

So, please take a few moments and send a request for your STHS Edline Registration Code to Edline_Registration@sths.org. We’re certain that you will find Edline to be an extremely useful resource.

It is also important to remember that this is the first time that we have attempted a large scale registration of parents and students. While we have taken steps to assure that things go smoothly, we may still discover additional challenges. We promise to stay on top of the situation to assure a smooth registration process, but we do ask for your patience.

Also, since this is also the first time our teachers have used Edline, we have temporarily limited them to posting LAPs and other classroom materials. Once the registration process is completed, we will begin to implement other Edline features. Please continue to watch the STH website for announcements
