Art Club

The main emphasis of the Art Club is to allow an environment for those with a creative side to express themselves. Through small to large projects, such as the Art Car, the Club provides an opportunity to create and explore different techniques and different styles of art on a variety of levels.

The Art Club allows students to enter different district as well as state and national competitions held throughout the school year. Even those who are not enrolled in a particular art course will still be able to enter the contests. The art Club has won several district and state awards in the past.

Those interested in making life more enjoyable and enriched will find the twice a month meetings and the occasional field trips to their liking. Meetings are held in the Art Room every other Wednesday of the month. Mr. Paul DeRigne is the Art Club moderator. Art Club is always about the student's desires and interests in exploring the wonderful world of art.
