Environmental Club

The Enviromental Club wiil begin meeting shortly after the beginning of the school year, on a day to be determined by the members. They will meet twice each month after school. The Club members have established a recycling program at St. Thomas and have used the proceeds to support a child in Central America. This year the Club anticipates participating in the monitoring of pollutants in Buffalo Bayou and beach clean up in Galveston. We also collected used greeting cards and sent them to a children's hospital in Nevada. Students who participate spend approximatley 1 1/2 hours each month on their activities.
