The St. Thomas Counseling Office is looking forward to the 3rd
Annual Alumni Mentorship Program in the Fall 2022. St. Thomas invites all alumni to participate in providing insight to a current student who shows interest in a specific industry and career path. Dates: September – November
Commitment: Two 30 minute sessions each month through phone or video communication. Totaling 5 Sessions.
Partnership: You will be paired with one student who shows high interests in your surrounding career / industry.
Support from STH: The Counseling Department will provide suggested outline topics to add structure for each session.
Mentoring Role: Provide feedback and answers to students’ questions and thoughts on the career and industry. There is autonomy for you and the student to create an experience that best fits you both.
Closing Celebration Invitation: Mentors will be invited to attend the students’ poster presentations and a lunch on campus.
ALUMNUS MENTOR REQUIREMENTS
- Commitment to your Matched Student
- Willingness to share your experiences
- Completion of Virus or Safe Haven training within the last 5 years ***Diocesan requirement for anyone interacting with minors. If you do not have a current training certificate, it can be done quickly and easily HERE.
