As they enter their senior year, the Class of 2027 is making its mark on St. Thomas, leading the school community in goodness, discipline, and knowledge. Read below to meet four exemplary representatives of the senior class and what makes them true Men of St. Thomas.

Meet Anton Joshy.

Anton is a driven and well-rounded student whose achievements reflect both academic excellence and deep involvement in the St. Thomas High School community. Consistently earning all A’s and ranking among the top students in his class, Anton has distinguished himself through both scholarship and leadership. His accomplishments include receiving the prestigious University of Rochester Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass Award, as well as earning recognition in Debate and Fine Arts competitions. At the TAPPS Debate competition in Waco, Anton placed third in Extemporaneous Speaking and was recognized for an individual performance event.

Beyond the classroom, Anton is heavily involved in a wide range of extracurricular activities. He is a three-time All-State Choir member, with hopes of earning the honor again this coming year. Athletically, Anton has played club soccer and ran track for three years. He also serves his school community through Student Council, acts as Vice President of the Pre-Med Club, participates as a Senior Leader, and is frequently featured on the Eagle Broadcast Network. His faith is an important part of his life as well, and he consistently participates in Serviam evening service opportunities.

Although St. Thomas High School requires a 45-minute commute for him and his family, it clearly is the right fit. His mother, a nurse, first heard about STH through an alumnus working as an intern at her hospital. After visiting the school, she immediately recognized the strong sense of community and opportunity it offered. Attending STH, Anton has built lasting friendships, reconnected with classmates from middle school, and found a place where he truly belongs.

One of the most meaningful parts of Anton’s STH experience has been sharing it with his brother. Attending the same school has strengthened their relationship through shared classes, school experiences, and countless inside jokes about everyday life at St. Thomas. Whether working together on assignments or simply navigating high school side by side, Anton values the unique bond the school has helped create between them.

Meet Eugenio “Titi” Labarthe.

Titi is an accomplished student-athlete whose dedication to academics, athletics, leadership, and service has made him an integral part of the St. Thomas High School community. He is known for his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. Titi has earned numerous honors throughout his time at STH, including membership in the President’s Club, Academic Letters, and TAPPS Academic Awards.

On the soccer field, Titi has built an impressive career both within and outside of St. Thomas. He played club soccer with Albion Hurricanes FC and received an invitation from the Houston Dynamo U.S. Soccer Development program. At St. Thomas, he was a four-year varsity soccer player and helped lead the Eagles to the TAPPS Division I State Championship in 2025. His individual accomplishments include Honorable Mention All-District in 2022, All-District First Team honors for two years, All-State Second Team in 2024, All-State First Team in 2025, and selection to the All-Tournament Team for two consecutive years. Titi was also recognized as Most Valuable Player in 2025 and Best Offensive Player in 2026. One of the highlights of his soccer career came in 2023 when he received an invitation to try out for the USA National Team. In addition to soccer, Titi contributed to the St. Thomas football program as both a JV and varsity kicker.

Titi has also been deeply involved in student leadership and campus organizations. He serves as a Senior Leader and Eagle Ambassador while also participating in the Cyber Security Awareness Club, the Business Club, the Tolton Society, and as a Round Up Deputy. 

Outside of school, Titi is equally dedicated to serving others. He volunteers as a Confirmation Sponsor and is involved with Raise Up Against Cancer Organization and Child Advocates. His commitment to service demonstrates his compassion, leadership, and desire to make a meaningful impact beyond the classroom and athletic field.

Family and tradition have also played a major role in shaping Titi’s connection to St. Thomas. Although he was born in Houston, he spent several years living in Mexico before returning to Houston with his family in 2016, when he attended The Regis School of the Sacred Heart. His brother, Santiago Labarthe, graduated from STH in 2022. Titi’s family continues to support STH, and he is looking forward to seeing all that is in store for his senior year. 

Meet Web Lewis.

Web is widely recognized as one of the most decorated Eagle Ambassadors in St. Thomas history, leaving a lasting impact on countless prospective families through his leadership, authenticity, and genuine passion for the school. During his time as an Ambassador, Web has received more than ten individual shoutouts from families specifically recognizing the influence he had on their admissions experience. His ability to make every family feel seen, valued, and connected to the St. Thomas mission speaks volumes about his character and the example he sets for those around him.

Web’s success extends far beyond Admissions, as he has become a standout in nearly every aspect of campus life. He entered St. Thomas on scholarship and has continued to distinguish himself through an impressive balance of academic achievement, athletic excellence, leadership, and service. A dedicated dual-sport athlete, Web competes as both an outfielder and pitcher for the baseball program while also contributing to the football team as a wide receiver. His commitment, work ethic, and team-first mentality have earned the respect of coaches, teammates, and faculty alike.

In the classroom, Web consistently pursues academic rigor through multiple AP courses and is a proud member of mathematics Honor Society Mu Alpha Theta, reflecting both his intellectual curiosity and dedication to academic excellence. His involvement on campus also highlights his desire to create meaningful change within the school community. As the co-founder of the Cancer Club, Web has helped foster awareness, compassion, and service among his peers. He is also currently working to establish an Economics Club, where he plans to serve as President, further demonstrating his initiative, ambition, and entrepreneurial mindset.

Whether he is representing St. Thomas as an Eagle Ambassador, competing on the field, or leading student organizations, Web consistently embodies the values of leadership, humility, faith, and excellence. His impact on the St. Thomas community is undeniable, and he continues to set a remarkable example of what it means to fully invest in every opportunity the school has to offer.

Meet Rylan Kimpson.

Rylan is a dedicated leader whose impact on the St. Thomas community is defined not only by his accomplishments, but by the kindness, humility, and care he shows to everyone around him. Whether he is welcoming prospective families as an Eagle Ambassador, leading within student organizations, or supporting his teammates on and off the field, Rylan consistently sets an example of servant leadership and genuine character. His ability to connect with others and make people feel included has made him an invaluable presence within the Eagle Ambassador program, where he has already made a significant impact and continues to grow as a leader heading into his senior year.

A standout student-athlete, Rylan has earned impressive recognition through his success in football, including First Team All-State, Second Team All-State, and Academic All-State honors. His discipline and work ethic extend beyond athletics into every area of his life, reflecting his commitment to excellence both on the field and in the classroom. In addition to football, he previously competed in basketball, showcasing his versatility as an athlete.

Rylan is also deeply involved in campus life and leadership opportunities at St. Thomas. He serves as the media lead for the Tolton Society, helping promote and support the organization’s mission, while also participating in the Asian Culture Club and Business Club. His peers and faculty clearly recognize his leadership potential, as he will serve as a student council class representative next year. Through every role he takes on, Rylan leads with humility, positivity, and a willingness to serve others before himself.

His dedication to the St. Thomas community is also reflected in his family’s involvement on campus. His mother has volunteered her time helping with Tolton Society events, while his father has contributed as part of the football grill team, making service and community support a true family commitment. Together, the Kimpsons embody the spirit of St. Thomas, and Rylan continues to leave a lasting impression through his leadership, compassion, and unwavering dedication to those around him.
