The Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) Hosts the TAPPs State Academic/Debate Meet in early April. The tournament is held at the Convention Center in Waco, Texas, and hosts schools from across the state of Texas. Competition in all academic, speech, and fine arts areas is included.
