Generations of Eagles again joined with patrons, sponsors and contributors to make the 31st annual St. Thomas Golf Tournament a roaring success at Wildcat Golf Club.

Cherished alumni, friends, and supporters kept the event’s tradition of cross-course teasing alive and well. The shotgun start signaled friendly back-and-forth erupting that carried throughout the back nine turns.  Not exactly an event that demands quiet on the course.

High, windy times were in the offering with low scores, hot fairways, and cold beverages. Well, perhaps an occasional low score pending how creative the mathematically challenged demonstrated the importance of not being earnest.

Birdies proved to be an endangered species. The National Audubon Society was notified.

Bogey served as the day’s best friend before the 19th hole featured a feast, spiritual refreshment, and signature Eagle revelry.

What an awesome, beautiful day in the brotherhood.
