HALL OF HONOR

Induction into The Hall of Honor is the highest accolade bestowed upon a St. Thomas alumnus. Inductees are chosen for modeling a Christian lifestyle, giving of their time and energy, sharing their talents and expertise, helping others less fortunate and always striving to be the best in their life’s work.

St. Thomas High School’s Hall of Honor was established in 1975 in conjunction with the 75th anniversary of the school. Its’ purpose is to recognize those special individuals whose exceptional contributions to their professions, their communities and the world embody the mission of St. Thomas, “Teach me, Goodness, Discipline and Knowledge.” As Fr. James Wilson, CSB said in his speech at the inaugural induction ceremony in 1976, the Hall of Honor celebrates graduates who “by their industry and integrity have been found most worthy.”

Thirteen alumni were inducted at the first ceremony. Since then, 41 additional alumni have received this distinction. Portraits of all Hall of Honor members hang just outside Cemo Auditorium where our students view them every day and are inspired by their great character and accomplishments. Hall of Honor selection committee is comprised of the school’s President and a selection of committee members representing a variety of class years, one (or more) of which to be a Basilian priest. This years committee members include:
