2016-17 Financial Aid Process

St. Thomas High School awards more than $1,300,000 in financial aid to deserving students each year.  The process for the 2016-17 school year will begin on December 1, 2015 when the online application becomes available.  All applications must be received by February 1, 2016 and all 2015 tax returns must be received no later than February 19, 2016.

Please click on the Information link below for detailed information on the St. Thomas High School financial aid program, its requirements and expectations.  Please note that no applications are accepted without the prior year’s income tax return (2015).

Applications are only accepted through the FAST online process.  Please do not send emails or documentation directly to the school.  Award emails will be sent the week of March 14, 2016, to the email address used when completing the FAST application.  The email notification will contain one of three responses listed below.

1. If you are awarded financial aid, the amount of the award will be listed in your email.

2. If you do not qualify for financial aid, your email will advise you of this.

  • If you do not qualify for financial aid, you can file an appeal with FAST.  You will see a screen asking you to “resume” your application and then “click here” to file an appeal.  Appeals must be filed by Friday, March 25, 2016, for consideration.  Do not contact the school, appeals will only be considered using the FAST online appeals process.

3. If your application is incomplete or your 2015 tax return has not been provided to FAST to verify your income, your email will state that your application for financial aid has not been considered.

  • If your application has not been considered due to missing information or 2015 tax documents, please mail the required information to FAST as soon as possible.  Please do not send this information to St. Thomas.
