“This project was designed to help stop the encroachment of invasive plants from taking over the area. My volunteers and I removed the old flowers and plants and replaced them with native vegetation that would alleviate future problems…Boy Scouts offered me life skills, friendships, adventures, and experiences with my dad. I’ve enjoyed it so much, and what I’ve gained is invaluable.”
