As of May 11, 2026, nine St. Thomas students have earned the distinction of Eagle Scout over the past year. The St. Thomas community celebrates these young men who have prioritized discipline and community service throughout their scout experience.

Garrett Doyle, Class of 2026 – His Eagle Scout project involved clearing invasive plant species at the Houston Arboretum, protecting native Texan wildlife and providing opportunities for Arboretum visitors to learn more about the flora and fauna in their backyard.

Frank Falbey, Class of 2027 – His project was titled “The Brick and Mortar Conservancy Project,” in which Falbey coordinated volunteers to clean up and lay stones around two artificial ponds in Hermann Park.

Matthew Fisk, Class of 2028 – Titled “Picnic Dreams Do Come True at Eliot Elementary,” Fisk’s project entailed the refurbishment of 8 picnic tables in HISD’s Eliot Elementary School’s courtyard for students to eat and enjoy.

Blake Jarmon, Class of 2028 – Jarmon’s project, “Whidby Elementary Outdoor Restoration,” also upgraded a local elementary school’s outdoor space with restored benches, pressure-washed mosiac stones (pictured above), and newly-planted trees.

Kale Mazurek, Class of 2026 – Inspired by his involvement in the St. Thomas Theater Department, Mazurek built three dollies for the school to use as they design sets and stages for future performances.

William Patout, Class of 2026 – Patout rebuilt walkways and garden beds for the Garden Oaks Community Garden, which grows produce for the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry.

Patrick Roche, Class of 2027 – His project involved concrete benches in Olivewood Cemetery so that visitors have clean, stable places to sit as they pay their respects.

Frederick Ruppert, Class of 2026 – For his project, Ruppert removed and recycled tires from Little Whiteoack Bayou in Woodland Park, reducing litter and waste in Houston’s waters.

Augustus Walcik, Class of 2026 – St. Rose of Lima benefited from Walcik’s project; he built and installed outdoor benches in their courtyard for patrons to enjoy.
